Roadtrip 2022 Fall: Richland - Boise - Ely - Kanab - Sedona - Joshua Tree - Paso Robles - Calistoga - Brookings - Cannon Beach

Day 3 - Richland to Boise

In these parts it's pronounced Touch It.

Cool old stuff in Walla Walla Wa.

This is also Walla Walla Wa.

This gun battery has successfully defended Walla Walla from multiple waves of pirates for generations.

Waves of grain fill the countryside.

At last, we find the source of That Giant Sucking Sound. I originally thought it was the Edmonton Elks, audible over vast distances.

We encounter a "wintry mix" in the usual Blue Mountain area on I 84.

Yes it is enourmous - and we have no idea what it is or where it's going.

The sky Gods are in a roily mood today.

These little ones have found a perfect shelter from the winds.

Squalls loom over the range west of Baker.

This top-secret facility, opened during the Manhattan Project is now used in production of the new super-food that will be the salvation of humanity in the age of Climate Change: they call it "Soylent Green".

Not clouds - rather a well disguised alien invasion force looms..

Yup - our American friends are about to vote again for pretty much every imaginable public job title. The best name here has to be "C Scott Grow". Kinda reminicent of Run Lucky Run. He'd like to be the Governor - for Idaho - of course.

Forget Climate Change! Play Ball!

This is Billy, the Giant Sentient Robotic Chicken, built in the 1980's as a testament to the power of Artificial Intelligence (for a chicken). He has been imprisoned here in this maximum security facility ever since as a danger to humanity.

Forget Robotic Chickens! Play Ball!
